Young Life doesn't start with a program. It starts with adults who are concerned enough about kids to go to them, on their turf and in their culture, building bridges of authentic friendship. These relationships don't happen overnight — they take time, patience, trust and consistency.
Working in community alongside like-minded adults (volunteer leaders, committee members, donors and staff). Collaborating with followers of Christ from various traditions and local churches.
Volunteer leaders run Club, Campaigners, and take students to summer camp. Providing fun, adventurous, life-changing and skill-building experiences. The heart of our ministry is the relationships that are built between leaders and students and earning the right to be heard.
Reaching adolescents of every ability and all economic, cultural and ethnic backgrounds. Welcoming those whom God calls to our mission — men and women of all ethnicities and abilities who are committed to the common purpose of introducing adolescents to Jesus Christ and helping them grow in their faith.
Volunteer your time to work directly with young people.
Support the staff and leaders as part of the local adult committee.
Give resources to start or sustain the financial foundation at the local or national level.
